On April 1st I got a phone call from my brother telling me I had a new niece. After asking him if this was an April Fool's joke, I gave him the proper congratulations. It's killing me not to be there!!!

Congratulations, Auntie! :) It's weird to look at your brother and see him all grown-up--I still remember him as a little kid. In fact, his son looks just the way I remember him, lol.
Congrats! I know what it's like to be an aunt, and it's very nice :) She looks so cute!
So now two of our friends have nieces named Addison (more or less). Is that a Grey's Anatomy thing, or something?
Thanks! Yeah - I can't wait to meet her :) So far I think everybody's pretty impressed with her. I got to talk to my family on Easter. She was getting plenty of attention.

Hi Auntie Beq,
Great Aunt Shirley, Great Grampy and Mam got the wonderful privilege of meeting Addi last Thurs. JT and Niki drove over for the day. Could hardly believe I was holding Sean Tucker's 12-day-old sibling. Precious, cuddly, and very alert. She holds her head up already and turns to the sound of music...and has long, slender "piano-playing" fingers. =)
When does school finish for you? When do you start your summer classes with PBU in Germany? When do you come stateside?
Adorable little neice, and beautiful name! I like the way they spelled it too!
