Hey becky, So where exactly are you at now? Are you traveling this whole summer until you start teaching again?

Wow, you've been holding out on us. Nice pics! And I am hoping that the ice cream just resembled eggs and asparagus and it was actually yummie and delicious? I am not a huge fan of German food (unless you count german chocolate cake) but what I have had (very little) has been all right, different-but never egg and asparagus ice cream:)
That is really cool how they did that with the ice cream! I must say I am glad Italy won. No, I didn't watch any of the games - it just runs in the blood. :)
OK, so so the ice cream didn't taste anything like eggs and asparagus - false advertising!!! It was pistachio and vanilla ice cream piped into the asparagus shape with a little kiwi syrup on one end. Then the egg yolks were apricots on top of whipped cream whites with some sort of vanilla sauce with a definite kick to it poured over top. deliciouso!
oh, Nicki, I am traveling all over the East Coast until I take off again for North Africa on August 3rd. Unfortunately I won't be anywhere near Minneapolis :( Today I am in NJ, tomorrow I leave for SC, then back here again July 31, and probably hitting Philly again before I fly away.
