You took it off!
So I went to school yesterday looking like this. The first comment from my student, Prince, was:
"Miss Rebecca, you took it off." He said this of course pointing to his head.
I asked him, "I took what off, Prince?"
"You took off the purple."
So apparently after careful inspection last week, he still wasn't convinced it wasn't a wig. I assured him it was my hair, but the color had washed out... in only one week!!!

Mam, glad I could reassure you with a more recent photo :) Don't worry, by the time I get home for Christmas I'll be recognizable again. The water here is so full of calcium it strips everything out really quickly - unfortunately for the color lover in me. The bug situation is still around. i am on my third round of a herbal cleanse. it makes me sick as it cleans out the bugs, but in between the cleanses (i have a 3 week break in between rounds) i have been feeling better, so I think it's working.
Anonymous - nope, not really. my family is my target audience. They're a million miles away and I love seeing as many pictures of them as I can. I pretty much assume the feeling is mutual.
